Jos Sluys (1963) founded Saffelberg Investments, a leading investment fund based in Gooik, Belgium, with a focus on helping entrepreneurs create value. Until 2007, Jos Sluys was CEO, Director & majority shareholder of ARINSO International, listed on Euronext Brussels. In July 2007, ARINSO was acquired by Northgate Information Solutions (LSE: NIS) for 375 million euro.
Jos Sluys developed ARINSO from a local Belgian SAP-HR implementation company with 20 staff and a turnover of 1.5 million euro in 1995, to a group operating in 27 countries in EMEA, the Americas and AsiaPac, with consolidated net sales of 220 million euro and over 2,500 staff.
Until 1994 Jos worked as HR sales manager for SAP Belgium, and managed the localisation of SAP-HR for the Belgian market. Prior to joining SAP, Jos worked at Unilever, where he gained significant practical experience in supply chain management and consumer marketing.
Jos Sluys is considered an expert in IT Services and Business Transformation, and sits on the board of numerous companies across various industries. He has a degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Brussels (VUB 1986) and a MBA from the Vlerick Management School (RUG 1987).
